Hi everyone, I have two announcements for you today! The first one is that for the rest of the summer (due to my internship) I will only be posting one recipe per week, on Wednesdays, instead of three.
The second one is that I will now be able to spend even more time on the recipes that I will share with you. So without further due, I present to you my new culinary crush: shaved asparagus salad!

What do you love the most about seasons? Is it the changing weather, temperature, fashion, or the color of the leaves in the trees? For me, it’s the flavorful seasonal produce that come with each one of them. Throughout the Spring season specifically, many of my favorite fruits and vegetables become perfectly ripe. That’s when I like to spend some time at the grocery store, and get lost in the fresh produce aisle. Though this isn’t the prettiest dish there is, it may be one of my all time favorites. Actually, there is nothing I ever want to change about this recipe. It blends so many wonderful flavors in one plate, that it really blows my mind (and taste buds)! Indeed, Saadia knows that her chicken is my favorite, which is why she immediately shared it with me.

I’ve never been big on snacks. Except during exam periods of course, when they’re pretty much all that get me through most days. They give me the energy to stay focused at my desk, and cram for another round.
