It’s finally my favorite time of the semester here in Philly, aka Restaurant Week! Basically for two weeks, twice a year, most of the best restaurants in town offer a $35 three-course menu. It’s an amazing deal for college students to have a taste of delicious places in town, that would otherwise be out of reach. Consistent with my ever present need to splurge on veggies at the market, I bought a huge bunch of green asparagus a while back that I never took the time to use. I had to find a solution, and I didn’t have much time left. So I decided I’d go ham (pun intented) and use it raw with some Italian prosciutto.
